Secondary Education
Studies at KOM Secondary is rigorous. At the same time, it takes into consideration the developmental needs of the students. While there is continual attention to skill building, the emphasis begins to shift to higher order thinking skills.
- Writing, thinking and speaking English clearly are emphasized in every subject. Students are encouraged to make inquiries, questioning causes and helped to find connections on concepts which is essential component of our instruction process.
- Hands-on learning continues to be important. Field trips and exhibitions days are interspersed throughout the year e.g. parents visitation days and graduation ceremonies.
- Class students are grouped in various education lines such as arts and science following the advisory by subject masters and class masters. The transition from secondary to High school (Advanced level) is carefully planned with the help of academic master and parents.
